3. Tips for a Faster Resolution

When you contact us, including the following details helps us solve your issue faster:

  • A clear description of the issue or your question.
  • Your device model (e.g. iPhone 15 Pro) and iOS version (e.g. iOS 18.2).
  • The version of Scanner PDF you're using (you'll find it at the bottom of the Settings screen).
  • Screenshots or a short screen recording if the issue is visual.
  • Step-by-step instructions to reproduce the problem.
  • Your subscription plan, if your inquiry is billing-related.

4. Common Questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open iPhone Settings → tap your Apple ID at the top → Subscriptions → Scanner PDF → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. See our Subscriptions & Billing page for full details.

How do I request a refund?

All payments are processed by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, select your Scanner PDF purchase, and submit your request. Refund approval is at Apple's discretion.

How do I delete my account and data?

You can delete your account directly from inside the app: open Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account data from our servers. Alternatively, you can email us at contact@scannerpdf-app.com with your deletion request and we will process it within 30 days, as required by GDPR.

How do I restore my subscription on a new device?

Sign in with the same Apple ID you used for the original subscription, open Scanner PDF, and tap "Restore Purchases" in the paywall or in Settings. Apple will confirm your active subscription and restore premium access.

Are my scanned documents private?

Yes. Your scanned documents are stored locally on your iPhone and never uploaded to our servers. The only exception is PDF-to-document conversion (Word, Excel, etc.), which requires server-side processing and only runs when you explicitly request it. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.

I'm getting a different price than the one shown on the website. Why?

Prices shown on our website are U.S. reference prices in USD. The price you see in the App Store may differ based on your country, currency, local taxes, and Apple's regional pricing matrix. The final price is always displayed in the App Store before you confirm your purchase.


5. Privacy and Data Requests

If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom, California, or another jurisdiction with specific data protection laws (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA), you have additional rights regarding your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, including data access, correction, portability, or deletion, email us at contact@scannerpdf-app.com with a clear description of your request.

We will respond and complete your request within 30 days, as required by law.

We aim to respond to all support emails within 48 hours on business days (Monday to Friday). Complex billing or privacy-related cases may take longer to investigate, but we will keep you informed of progress.
